I accidentally deleted a file from my S: or U: drive.
Q3: I accidentally deleted a file from my S: or U: drive. When I go to my Recycle Bin it's not there. Why not?

A: Items that are deleted from a network directory such as your S: or U: drives do not go to the Recycle Bin on your Windows Desktop. This is because the Recycle Bin is only for files that are stored to your local drives (C: drive, A: drive for example). The files on a network directory are stored on a network file server, and therefore are not sent to your workstation's local Recycle Bin. If you need help retrieving a deleted file please contact .
