How do I send email to every student in my class?
How do I send email to every student in my class?

Use InfoLink to send mail to every student in any of your classes. Keep in mind that you may sometimes get mail back as undeliverable, it could be because the student has gone over their quota for their mailbox, has mail forwarded to another of their email addresses that takes it out of their CWSL mailbox, or forwarded to another address where that mailbox has reached its quota. We have no control over how students use/setup their email box, but we can help them if your email to them is undeliverable. You should all have an icon to

1. Click on InfoLink on your desktop (looks like a rocket ship) or look under Start/Programs/InfoLink
2. Contact Facult Support for access information to Infolink
3. Tools (on the pull down menu)
4. Email
5. Send Mail to a Class (You will also see a Send Mail to Advisees selection which will send to the students that have you as their advisor.)
6. Choose the Professors Tab
Below is the screen shot you will see, choose the Semester and your name from the Professor pull down menus. The # of students in the class will appear.
You should cc: yourself to know the message went and to give yourself a copy of it as it DOES NOT appear in your Outlook Sent folder.
You can also choose the "attach a file" button if needed.

7. Hit Send when you are done.
